The American Studies Center is pleased to announce a competition for student research grants.

The grants will support students’ work on their MA theses and BA papers. As the research must be related to a BA paper or an MA thesis, 3rd year BA students and MA students of all years will have a priority.

Up to three grants will be awarded, up to 4000 PLN each. The money may be used to pay for travel to libraries to research in specialized collections or for the purchase of books and other resources necessary to complete their projects. The grants will be awarded to the authors of the best MA and BA research proposals.

The research proposals should be submitted by email to the Head of the committee: Prof. William Glass (w.glass@uw.edu.pl) by April 13, 2025. The final decision will be made by the committee members: Prof. William Glass, Prof. Agnieszka Graff, Prof. Bohdan Szklarski, and Dr. Jan Smoleński, by April 28, 2025.

Please see the attached file for detailed instructions on how the proposal should be formulated.
