It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of

James F. Morrison,

who suffered a fatal heart attack in Florida on September 11, 2019.
In October he would have been 82 years old.

Prof. Morrison was a long-time adjunct professor at the ASC. Teaching classes mostly on American society and economy, he was treasured by students for his warmth and kindness. He was also a frequent guest at our Thanksgiving parties, as well as other academic events and social occasions at the Center. He became a friend of many faculty members and will be greatly missed. The whole ASC community wishes to extend deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

This tragedy is keenly felt by all members of the University of Warsaw community, faculty, administrative staff, and students alike. We all want the university to be a safe place and work hard every day to ensure that it is. It is incredibly difficult to have this hope challenged so severely.
