Her research interests include functioning of myths and stereotypes in culture and their representation in the media, war in culture, war propaganda, mass culture phenomena, advertising role in American culture, commercial culture, American art at the turn of the 20th century. She teaches courses on American media and democracy, advertising and consumer culture.
