We are very happy to announce that Prof. dr. Carsten Junker from Technische Universität Dresden has been nominated to spend two months at the ASC in Spring 2021. He is preliminarily scheduled to teach a senior research lecture “Writing against Slavery: Early American Abolitionist Discourses and their Repercussions” in our M.A. program. We hope that this course will be of particular significance for the American Studies Center students, given the current increased interest in the situation of African Americans in the US. The Visiting Professorship is offered within the framework of the University’s Integrated Development Programme (ZIP).
