Dear ASC Students,
I’m writing to wish you a Merry Christmas. I expect it will be a hopeful time for all of you.
I understand that many of you and your loved ones have been affected by Covid in all kinds of challenging and sad ways. I’m also aware of the difficulties many of you are facing as you struggle to study remotely in these strange times.
But please don’t forget that a much better year, 2021, is ahead, with vaccines becoming more broadly available and gradually more and more possibilities starting to open up. That hope will surely infuse your coming Christmas days with more optimism and anticipation.
