We are pleased to announce that two of our faculty members, Dr. Natalia Pamuła and Dr. Anna Kurowicka, are among the scholars admitted to the program for young female researchers and teachers funded by the Excellence Initiative – Research University at the University of Warsaw.
At the moment, women make up only about 30% of those in the highest positions at UW.
The program aims to support young women in academia in developing their careers to ensure gender equality at the University of Warsaw. It addresses the issue of loss of involvement among women during the development of their research careers and supports young talents in scientific fields at the University of Warsaw.
Researchers and teachers participating in the programme will receive financial support in planning and implementing an individualised professional development path.
